Experimentation is the primary motivation behind everything I do. Observation and exploration are what I am most concerned with. I enjoy pushing the limits of the working process, the media I choose, and even my own aesthetics. Though my training is in the field of metals and jewelry, I do not limit myself to this one arena. I am a jeweler; but I am also a sculptor, a painter, a photographer, a designer. I find myself drawn to learning new tools and exploring new outlets for expression. Because of this, my work is very diverse, although some themes tend to recur and overlap - themes such as mortality, the passage of time, and the mechanics of human interaction.
